Each year, JoyRx Music®, JoyRx Mentorship®, and JoyRx Nature® programs reach approximately 40,000 seriously ill children, teens, and family members across the country. Our trauma-informed approach aligns with healthcare goals and is guided by family feedback, clinical insight, and research-based best practices.
We partner closely with care teams to provide uplifting, personalized experiences that help transform the pediatric care journey—because joy truly helps kids feel better.
JoyRx Music®
JoyRx Music shares the universal power of music to inspire joy and connection for children in treatment. Our professional JoyRx Music Specialists work in more than 50 hospitals nationwide, adapting each session to a child’s mood, interests, and energy level. Every song, rhythm, and melody is a moment of healing connection—helping kids reclaim agency and joy, even in clinical settings.

JoyRx Mentorship®
Our award-winning Mentorship program pairs children and teens in treatment with trained, trusted adult mentors who bring friendship, play, and emotional support. These consistent, joyful relationships help kids feel seen, supported, and less alone throughout their healthcare journey.
JoyRx Nature®
Located in Oregon’s coastal forest, the Alexandra Ellis Caring Cabin offers families of children in treatment a peaceful and restorative getaway at no cost. At JoyRx Nature, kids and families can relax, explore, and make joyful memories surrounded by the beauty of nature.
