Rob Stone Fund

for JoyRx Music

In recognition of Rob’s profound belief in the power of music, JoyRx is proud to establish the Rob Stone Fund and Award: an annual honor given to a musician who exemplifies Rob’s spirit of generosity, creativity, and advocacy for youth. This year, we are honored to recognize Mark Ronson.

Inaugural award

It is only fitting that Mark Ronson be the first recipient of the Rob Stone Memorial Award—our highest honor recognizing visionary leadership in the music industry and extraordinary service to JoyRx. As a groundbreaking producer, songwriter, and cultural tastemaker, Mark has consistently pushed the boundaries of music while remaining grounded in authenticity and heart. His commitment to using music as a force for good reflects the very spirit that Rob championed throughout his life. From global chart-toppers to behind-the-scenes mentorship, Mark’s impact echoes far beyond the studio. Honoring him in this inaugural year is not only a tribute to his artistry, but a celebration of the compassion, creativity, and joy that both he and Rob believed music could bring to the world.

We know the universal power of music can help hospitalized children feel better. Our trained musicians empower kids to find their joy through curated, child-centered musical experiences that best suit their current emotional state, desired mood, and engagement level.

“Every time we’ve had music,
it’s been a lovely experience. I feel my child relax a little bit, I feel myself relax a little. It’s one of his favorite programs at the hospital.”
